Hangzhou Paradise is both an amusement park and a water park. We only visited the water park as it was in the middle of summer and extremely hot, too hot for the rides. The water park catered for kids and adults alike. There is a kids water playground, which was perfect for my water loving 21 month old daughter. It included kids slides, fountains and toddler pools. Surrounding the kids playground is the lazy river where you can jump on a tube, relax and be taken around by the current. There are also an array of water slides for the older kids and adults. An excellent pace to visit in summer in Hangzhou. I can imagine that it would get very busy on the weekends and during holiday times.
The food choices aren't great, we are lucky our daughter will try new and different foods.
The toilet facilities are basic, however lockers are available.
Remember your hat and sunscreen (although this can be bought on arrival).
Pros and Cons
- Activities specifically for kids
- Possible to bring your own food
