Beautiful castle that has considered the needs of kids

Great castle, picturesque and in excellent condition. There is an activities page with treasure hunt etc that is given to kids as they enter. Keeps them amused while you tour the apartments. Great for Downton Abbey fans!! This castle was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The cafe is great and kids are well catered for. This is explained by the fact that it is run by the current Duchess who lives at the castle and who herself has two young children. It was raining the day we went so we spent most time in the castle but managed a quick walk in the garden which would be a great place for kids in good weather.
