Gorgeous building but not for kids!
We wanted to go and see a real Venetian Palazzo and chose this as it was close to where we are staying and the TripAdvisor reviews said 4.5 stars. Although the building was wonderful with lots of quirky and fun things for the kids to look at, the guards which were in every room hovered close to you and were constantly telling us not to touch things. Of course, the kids weren't touching things and understood but sometimes were pointing to things and getting within hands with of something and the guards would leap up and tell us not to touch. I found it quite stressful. the two upstairs floors are a collection of paintings of historical significance but it was so hot up there, i think because it is temperature controlled to preserve he old paintings. In short, don't go with kids, you will waste your money. If you want to see the gorgeous building, tag team with another parent so you can browse sans kids!
