So much to see and do

This place is marvellous. I love that there is such a huge park in the city that is so accessible to all. The amount of activities is enormous but we particularly enjoyed just wandering through the park and the zoo. The best part is that it is free!! A free zoo - can you imagine?! There are also numerous other kids activities to do, some of which were closed as we right at the end of Autumn. Some of those you do pay for - but not much e.g. the go karts are just a few euros. But the Zoo was excellent, well maintained and easy to see the animals which were very well looked after and had big spaces to roam. There are playgrounds dotted around and really it is just a great way to spend half a day or more. Take a picnic and you can find a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy it. I have given it 4 stars and not 5 stars as there didn't seem to be enough toilets and we came without lunch hoping to buy something there but all the cafes were closed - perhaps the time of year but there were people everywhere and surely an cafe would have made money if they were open? Anyway just be prepared for that in the off season and the toilet situation if you are toilet training and need urgent toilet access...
