Attraction info

The Troglodytic Valley of Goupillières is a farm recreated to show the lives of people who lived in the caves in the middle ages.  The caves include 3 farms dug into the tufa stone with their wells, baker's ovens, cattle sheds, grain silo and medieval underground refuge.   Children will find rabbits, hens, goats, pigs, and other animals living on the farms. Great fun for little ones and grown-ups!

Fascinating, interesting and educational

We decided to try this out and were very glad that we did. I can't believe that people used to live like this and it was not only educational for the kids but also for us. There is a great guided tour and lots of things for the kids to discover and play with along the way. Quizes for everyone and hidden witches and foxes to surprise the kids. The owner is just lovely and so helpful. Very well priced and lovely to walk through and learn about the people that used to live in this area. Recommended.
