Fun, educational and free!

What a playground!!! On top of the fact that the playground is massive with heaps of different entertainment for kids of all ages, there is plenty of bbq areas, gazebos, flat grassed areas and the lake.

The conservation park is also free for entry with boardwalks and natural paths with plenty of description signage and easy to spot animals.

The place is really well set up and is beautifully scenic. Given the masses of parking and caravan park right on the edge of the 'volcano crater' as you enter, I'm guessing it gets really busy in summer as it'd be a bit of an oasis from the heat, so you'd probably have to get in early for primo gazebo spot, but there is a lot of space. Absolutely worth visiting when in Mt Gambier.
